Château Siaurac
Nestled at the edge of Pomerol, where the clay soils of Néac meet the gravelly terraces of Bordeaux’s Right Bank, Château Siaurac is a quiet jewel with nearly 300 years of history. This is one of the largest and most historic estates in Lalande-de-Pomerol—a single, contiguous vineyard surrounded by ancient trees, wild hedgerows, and the rhythm of nature.
The château itself, a romantic 19th-century manor, overlooks 46 hectares of vines that have been cultivated with care and intention. Here, tradition and innovation work hand in hand. Over recent years, the estate has embraced organic and biodynamic principles, nurturing the land to let the wines speak with greater purity and precision.
Merlot takes the lead, supported by Cabernet Franc and a touch of Malbec, resulting in wines that are generous, graceful, and full of quiet depth. Expect ripe red fruits, supple tannins, and the kind of elegance that lingers—a hallmark of this extraordinary terroir.
Guided by the gentle hand of the Thienpont family—renowned stewards of Right Bank winemaking—Château Siaurac continues to evolve while honouring its roots. Each vintage is a conversation between past and future, crafted for those who appreciate balance, authenticity, and a genuine sense of place.
