The estate spans 47 hectares of vineyard, planted on a mix of deep gravel, clay, and sandy soils. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot dominate, supported by small plantings of Petit Verdot. In the cellar, fermentation takes place in stainless steel and concrete tanks, with careful temperature control to preserve freshness and precision. The Château Sigognac Médoc reveals classic left bank character: dark berries, cedar, and tobacco leaf layered over fine-grained tannins and a mineral backbone. The estate also produces “Le Baron de Sigognac”, a second wine offering supple texture and earlier-drinking pleasure, while retaining the house’s signature finesse.
