The domaine was founded in 1988 by Anne-Françoise Gros, drawing on a long lineage of Burgundian winegrowing heritage and a passion for expressing the subtlety of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

From the outset, Anne-Françoise’s vision was to craft wines that speak clearly of their origins — wines of clarity, depth and balance that honour the nuance of each vineyard parcel. Her husband, François Parent, a native of Pommard and an accomplished winemaker, brought his expertise to the project, helping to shape a style celebrated for both elegance and complexity.

What sets Domaine A.F. Gros apart is its multi-generational commitment: today the next generation — Mathias and Caroline — carry the family spirit forward, with Mathias focusing on winemaking and Caroline steering the estate’s growth and presence in the world.

The vineyards stretch across some of Burgundy’s most prized terroirs, including Pommard, Vosne-Romanée, Savigny-lès-Beaune and other sought-after climats.
