Domaine Follin-Arbelet
In the village of Aloxe-Corton, where the vineyards climb the slopes of Burgundy’s most storied hill, Domaine Follin-Arbelet stands as a story of both return and renewal. Founded in the early 1990s by Franck Follin-Arbelet, the estate brought together family lands that had long been entrusted to others, uniting heritage with a new spirit of stewardship.
Franck’s path into winemaking was guided as much by science as by tradition—trained as a geologist, he brings a deep respect for the soils and the unique character of each parcel. From these foundations, he has built a domaine that is quietly admired for its integrity and precision, producing wines that remain true to their origins without artifice.
The family’s holdings stretch across Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses, and into the Grand Cru slopes of Corton itself. In the cellar beneath their 18th-century home, conditions are cool and patient—perfect for allowing the wines to develop slowly, gaining depth and longevity. The approach is simple but uncompromising: careful vineyard work, thoughtful fermentations, and bottling without unnecessary intervention.
What emerges in the glass is Burgundy at its most honest: pure, expressive, and shaped by the land rather than by fashion. Each bottle from Domaine Follin-Arbelet tells the story of a family deeply rooted in place, of terroirs allowed to speak with clarity, and of a philosophy that values authenticity above all else.
