Bruno Giacosa
In the rolling hills of Piedmont’s Langhe region, where mist clings to the vines and time seems to move a little slower, Bruno Giacosa spent a lifetime in quiet pursuit of perfection. Known as “the Genius of Neive,” Giacosa didn’t chase trends—he listened to the land, honored its rhythms, and let the wines speak for themselves.
Born into three generations of winemakers, Bruno began crafting wine alongside his father at just fifteen. But it was his obsessive dedication to detail—selecting only the finest grapes, working with revered cru vineyards like Falletto, Asili, and Rabajà—that elevated his wines to legend status. He was a traditionalist at heart, believing that true greatness came not from intervention, but from restraint.
Today, Bruno’s name is synonymous with purity, structure, and an almost spiritual sense of place. His Barolo and Barbaresco wines, especially the fabled Red Label Riservas, are treasured for their grace, power, and ability to age for decades. Each bottle is a quiet testament to time, craft, and terroir.
Now guided by his daughter, Bruna Giacosa, the winery continues to uphold Bruno’s unwavering standards—producing wines that reflect not just a region, but a philosophy.
These are wines for those who appreciate beauty without noise, and depth without pretension.
