Since its founding in 1988, Signatory Vintage has stood as one of Scotland’s most respected independent bottlers—quietly shaping the whisky world through a commitment to transparency, individuality, and integrity.

Created by brothers Andrew and Brian Symington, Signatory began with a bold idea: to showcase single malt Scotch whisky in its most authentic form. No chill filtration. No added colour. No blending to meet a profile. Just carefully selected casks—each one a unique expression of time, place, and character.

Every bottle tells its own story. From lightly peated Highlands to deep, smoky Islays, Signatory's whiskies are bottled either as single casks or small batches, with clear details about distillation dates, cask types, and outturns. It’s whisky stripped of pretense—crafted not for mass appeal, but for those who crave individuality in the glass.

Today, Signatory operates out of the historic Edradour Distillery in Pitlochry, which they acquired in 2002. There, traditional methods still hold sway, and every cask is selected with the same care and curiosity that sparked the brand decades ago.
