Château Ausone is one of the most celebrated names on Bordeaux’s Right Bank, in the heart of Saint-Émilion. For over a century, the Vauthier family has been its guardian, with Alain Vauthier now joined by the next generation—Pauline, Édouard and Constance.

Alongside Ausone itself, they tend five other estates—Château La Clotte, Château Moulin-Saint-Georges, Château Haut-Simard, Château Simard, and Château de Fonbel. Each receives the same meticulous care and attention, meaning the quality shines across the entire collection.

Our Director of Wine, Liz, has long admired this range and has secured a small allocation for Normanby. These are the “if you know, you know” bottles—wines that offer incredible pedigree without the lofty price tag of Ausone.
