Fresh red fruits and cherry lead a powerful but finely shaped palate, with gentle spice and supple tannins. Le Bois Roussot is a Ladoix Premier Cru planted on stony clay-limestone soils, bringing both structure and freshness to the generous 2023 fruit. Hand harvested and aged for 13 months in oak with just 10% new barrels, it has plenty of depth without losing purity. A polished Premier Cru that offers excellent Burgundy pedigree and value.

A slightly deeper purple. There was not room for whole bunches this year though the stems were ripe enough. Much darker raspberry, a few tannins but well integrated, dark cherry too. Altogether a darker style of fruit but thoroughly satisfying. Drink from 2029-2035.
