Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair - Wellington 29 October

One of Burgundy’s most exciting domaines has arrived in New Zealand, and Normanby is immensely proud to be its importer.

Last year, Normanby Director of Wine Liz Wheadon visited Domaine Thibault Liger-Belair, meeting with Thibault and discussing the opportunity for Normanby to represent his wines in New Zealand. The wines are now here, and this is our first opportunity to share a collection of them with our Wellington customers.

Normanby Wellington Manager Tom Mapplebeck will host the evening, taking you through eight wines from the 2022 vintage and exploring Thibault Liger-Belair’s approach to Burgundy, his vineyards and the individual character of each wine.

It’s a fascinating journey through the Côte d’Or, from Bourgogne and the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits through Ladoix-Serrigny, Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée, culminating in the Grand Cru vineyard of Corton Les Renardes.

For Burgundy lovers, this is a very special opportunity to discover a domaine newly available in New Zealand and taste across its range in one evening.
