Plum and black cherry emerge gradually, followed by dark florals and spice. MacMuir opens slowly, but builds into a wine of impressive depth and scale. Rich, brooding and structured, with a quiet intensity that unfurls over time. There’s real weight here, but it’s finely held — unmistakably Felton Road, and unmistakably MacMuir.
