Gagliardo Barolo Commune La Morra 2020 (750ml)
Gagliardo Barolo Commune La Morra 2020 (750ml)
Lustrous garnet with ruby reflections, the 2020 Barolo Comune di La Morra from Poderi Gianni Gagliardo offers an inviting and graceful aromatic profile—red cherry, rose petal, blood orange, and sweet spice, accented by hints of lavender, cedar, and warm earth. Sourced exclusively from estate parcels within La Morra, where calcareous marl soils and westward exposures yield Barolo of aromatic finesse and supple structure, the wine is vinified in stainless steel with long maceration, then aged for around 30 months in large oak casks and a small portion of neutral barrique. The palate is elegant and finely poised, with layers of red fruit, dried herbs, and subtle balsamic notes unfolding over silky tannins and a lifted acidity. The finish is long and harmonious, echoing with floral spice and mineral resonance.
