Gagliardo Roero San Ponzio Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC Superiore 2020 (750ml)

Lifted notes of cherry, dried raspberry and rose lead into layers of spice, forest floor and a subtle mineral edge. Grown on the sandy-limestone slopes of Monticello d’Alba in the Roero, this 100% Nebbiolo is both aromatic and firmly structured. It undergoes a 10–15 day maceration in steel before spending 18 months in a single 35hL barrel, softening the tannins while retaining depth. There’s a savoury, earthy undertone that brings balance to the wine’s fruit-forward core, with a texture that’s taut but refined. It opens quickly in the glass, but reveals more with time — a wine made for slow enjoyment. Pair with pork, ragu, or aged cheese. Will reward careful cellaring for up to 10 years.
