Gianni Gagliardo DaBatiè Langhe DOC Nebbiolo 2022 (750ml)

Red cherry and wild strawberry lead the aromatics, with floral notes and a touch of spice following behind. This is a softer, more delicate take on Nebbiolo, shaped by the sandy soils of Monticello d’Alba in the Roero. Fermented and aged entirely in steel, it’s fresh and lightly savoury, with fine tannins and a clean finish. A gentle maceration of up to 15 days draws out varietal character without overwhelming structure. DaBatiè shows Nebbiolo’s elegant side — lifted, accessible and quietly complex. Great with dishes that match its tone: grilled tuna, white meats, or mushroom-based ragu. It doesn’t need a cellar to shine, but will drink well over five years.
