Matured in Sauternes wine casks, this limited edition Kilchoman bursts with complex sweetness and coastal smoke. The nose is bright with honeyed fruits, citrus, sea salt and light tobacco. The palate is a symphony of candied pineapple, baked apple, creamy pastry and peat smoke, accented with lively spices and subtle herbal notes. The finish is long and saline, with lingering notes of grilled fruit, smoke and spice. A brilliant example of wine cask maturation done right.
