Les Pagodes de Cos Saint-Estephe 2014 (750ml)
Les Pagodes de Cos Saint-Estephe 2014 (750ml)
The second wine of Château Cos d’Estournel, ‘Les Pagodes de Cos’ captures the house style with approachability and polish. The 2014 vintage in Bordeaux benefited from an excellent late season, producing wines of freshness, balance, and classical structure.
A blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot, it opens with aromas of blackberry, plum, and dark cherry, layered with cedar, graphite, and a touch of spice. The palate is medium-bodied and composed, with fine tannins and bright acidity framing the fruit. Notes of tobacco and mineral nuance carry through a poised, persistent finish.
A refined, classically styled Saint-Estèphe, drinking well now with further potential to evolve.

The intensity of plums, spices, mushrooms and black truffles is very impressive. Full body, firm and silky tannins and a savory finish. Delicious second wine already. Better from 2020.
