Red cherry, wild strawberry and raspberry lead into rose petal and fine Vosne spice. The palate is silky and beautifully balanced, with ripe 2023 fruit held in check by fresh acidity and finely shaped tannins. Clos des Reas is particularly important to Michel Gros: a Premier Cru monopole entirely controlled by the domaine and one of its signature wines. Perfumed, precise and distinctive, it combines the elegance of Vosne-Romanee with the added depth and individuality of a great single vineyard.
