Screaming Eagle Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2022 (750ml)

The 2020 vintage shows impressive concentration and structure, while retaining the estate’s hallmark polish. Aromas of blackberry, cassis and dark chocolate are layered with cedar, tobacco leaf and a touch of savoury earth.

The palate is powerful yet controlled, with structured tannins supporting a core of deep, ripe fruit. There’s a lovely tension between richness and freshness, leading to a long, composed finish with notes of mocha and graphite.

A serious wine built for ageing, though decanting will reveal its complexity beautifully if enjoyed sooner.
