Domaine Besson 1er Cru Vaillons Chablis 2023 (750ml)

Bright, energetic and seriously appealing, this is Chablis with a little extra depth. Ripe pear and white peach come through first, layered with apricot and a touch of citrus, giving the wine both freshness and a gentle sense of richness.

 

From the Vaillons Premier Cru vineyard, this sits on classic Kimmeridgian soils, bringing a clear mineral line and a subtle saline edge. Fermented mostly in stainless steel with a small portion in oak, then aged on lees, it balances purity with texture.

 

The palate is round yet focused, with juicy stone fruit, fine acidity and a light touch of brioche and spice adding complexity. The finish is long, clean and quietly structured—ideal with seafood, creamy dishes or simply on its own.
