Medium ruby with garnet undertones, Domaine Parent Ladoix 1er Cru La Corvée 2022  opens with a lifted, aromatic nose—redcurrant, wild strawberry, rose petal, and sweet spice, layered with notes of forest floor and crushed stone. From southeast-facing limestone-clay slopes at the northern gateway to the Côte de Beaune, the wine is fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (25% new). The palate is vibrant yet composed—bright red fruit, savoury spice, and mineral nuance glide across finely structured tannins and fresh acidity. The finish is long, graceful, and delicately earthy. A poised and expressive 1er Cru—elegant, site-specific, and full of restrained charm.
