Brilliant and dynamic, the 2022 Esprit de Chevalier Blanc is a white wine of stunning intensity and depth. Notes of cooked apple, lime zest, nougat, oyster shell, and crushed stone unfold in the glass, revealing layers of richness and crystalline purity. A blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon, aged in 40% new oak, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fresh and structured, with tremendous vibrancy and finesse. A thrilling Bordeaux Blanc destined for a long, graceful evolution.

The 2022 L'Esprit de Chevalier Blanc has a well-defined bouquet with lemon zest, freshly-sliced pear and orange rind. Good complexity for a Deuxième Vin. The palate is well balanced with a pithy entry, peach skin and lemongrass touches. The 2022 is complex and focused with a fine persistence on the finish. This is a strong showing in a vintage, not necessarily geared toward the dry whites.
