A superb vintage in Pauillac, the 2016 Les Tourelles de Longueville combines beautifully ripe fruit with freshness, structure and elegance. Merlot-led, it offers layers of black cherry, cassis and plum, complemented by notes of tobacco, cedar and subtle spice. The palate is generous yet refined, with silky tannins, lovely depth and a long, balanced finish. Now showing the benefits of bottle age, this is a wonderfully approachable expression of Pauillac from the celebrated Château Pichon Baron estate.
