Les Tourelles de Longueville 2009 (750ml)

From the legendary 2009 Bordeaux vintage, this is a beautifully generous and expressive Pauillac, now showing lovely maturity. Rich aromas of blackcurrant, ripe cherry and dark plum are complemented by liquorice, tobacco, sweet spice and hints of cocoa. The palate is full and wonderfully supple, with fleshy, polished tannins, layers of ripe fruit and a long, harmonious finish. A superb example of the richness and charm of the 2009 vintage, offering the elegance and pedigree of Château Pichon Baron with the added complexity of bottle age.
