Champagne & Art: A Rare Evening with Normanby at Webb's (Auckland 23 July)

In July, Webb’s Auction House will present Zoomorphic Lounge, a remarkable single-owner live art auction featuring an important work by Bill Hammond, estimated to sell between $1.4—$1.8M, alongside a thoughtfully curated collection of art and design.

We felt the occasion called for something equally special in the glass, and are pleased to host a champagne tasting event while the works are on view in Wellington.

The tasting events will be held in both Auckland and Wellington, bringing together an exceptional collection of fine and rare Champagnes, creating an evening that celebrates both outstanding wine and exceptional art.

From the newly released Dom Pérignon 2017 to vintage Champagnes from 2013 and 2018, the line-up showcases the diversity, precision and age-worthiness that make Champagne one of the world's most captivating wine regions. Featuring a mix of celebrated houses and highly regarded grower-producers, the tasting moves from elegant Blanc de Blancs and expressive rosé through to complex vintage cuvées. Whether you are a dedicated Champagne collector or simply enjoy discovering great wines, this is a rare opportunity to explore some of the region's finest expressions alongside one of the season's most significant art events.
