IWA 5 Sake Assemblage 5 (2023) 720ml

Crafted by Shiraiwa K.K. Brewery, IWA 5 is the latest release in a project led by Richard Geoffroy, former Chef de Cave at Dom Perignon. Each year, a new expression is blended at the brewery's Kura, capturing the distinct and evolving character of IWA.

Technically a Junmai Daiginjo, this sake is a blend of over 20 individual sakes, including reserves from previous years. The result is a sake with depth and complexity, offering richness and length across the palate.

Aged for 15 months in bottle before release, IWA 5 is designed to evolve in the glass. It can be enjoyed at different temperature's from chilled to gently warmed and responds beautifully to different glassware.
